My reporting background spans policy, civic organizing, celebrity news, and activism. At Howard University, I covered DC street vending legislation, federal underrepresentation, and student activism — stories that required translating bureaucratic processes for audiences directly impacted by their outcomes. My 2024 Democratic National Convention coverage, recognized with an NABJ Undergraduate Short Form Award, sharpened my ability to report on high-stakes political moments with clarity, speed, and cultural nuance.
