My reporting background spans policy, civic organizing, celebrity news, and activism. At Howard University, I covered DC street vending legislation, federal underrepresentation, and student activism — stories that required translating bureaucratic processes for audiences directly impacted by their outcomes. My 2024 Democratic National Convention coverage, recognized with an NABJ Undergraduate Short Form Award, sharpened my ability to report on high-stakes political moments with clarity, speed, and cultural nuance. I've produced and reported at Broccoli City Festival, Blavity Festival, CultureCon, and AfroTech — events that don't just reflect culture, but set it.

At CNN, I have worked inside one of the world's largest newsrooms, adapting breaking news in real time, collaborating across editorial teams, and understanding how decisions get made at an institutional scale. This experience has sharpened my ability to move quickly without sacrificing accuracy. I'm equally comfortable on teleprompter and off-script, thriving in same-day production environments. I am a Howard University alumna, NABJ award recipient, and Student Emmy winner with credits across Blavity, CultureCon, and CNN — bringing the same community-centered rigor to every story I tell.
