My reporting background spans policy, civic organizing, celebrity news, and activism. At Howard University, I covered DC street vending legislation, federal underrepresentation, and student activism — stories that required translating bureaucratic processes for audiences directly impacted by their outcomes. My 2024 Democratic National Convention coverage, recognized with an NABJ Undergraduate Short Form Award, sharpened my ability to report on high-stakes political moments with clarity, speed, and cultural nuance. I've produced and reported at Broccoli City Festival, Blavity Festival, CultureCon, and AfroTech — events that don't just reflect culture, but set it.
At CNN, I have worked inside one of the world's largest newsrooms, adapting breaking news in real time, collaborating across editorial teams, and understanding how decisions get made at an institutional scale. This experience has sharpened my ability to move quickly without sacrificing accuracy. I'm equally comfortable on teleprompter and off-script, thriving in same-day production environments. I am a Howard University alumna, NABJ award recipient, and Student Emmy winner with credits across Blavity, CultureCon, and CNN — bringing the same community-centered rigor to every story I tell.

Inquire →Over the course of five months, Notoriety took full ownership of Eight2Eight's social media presence — from concept to execution. We planned and art-directed content shoots, scouted models, developed mood boards, and creative-directed every visual touchpoint to align with the brand's identity. Our team built and executed a comprehensive content strategy tailored to drive discovery, including platform-specific SEO to expand their reach to new audiences. We identified and cultivated community partnerships to amplify brand awareness, and saw the brand's product marketing plan through from development to launch. Every stage of the client journey — from community engagement in DMs and comments to managing brand collaborations — was handled with intentionality and care.
For The Movement Street's Creative Classic, Notoriety served as a full-service production and creative partner from pre-show logistics to on-site execution. We managed the entire vendor ecosystem — scouting talent and designers, handling intake and finance tracking, and coordinating every vendor's needs on show day to ensure seamless merchandising and presentation. Beyond operations, we led the creative vision: marketing the classic designers featured in the show through strategic visual storytelling, directing video shoots and on-camera interviews, and rolling out a social series strategy that built anticipation before the event and sustained engagement after. Every decision was made with the goal of elevating the designers in the room and the brand behind the show.
Ìpàdé DC is a Black-woman owned event and meeting space in DuPont Circle, designed for women of color entrepreneurs, professionals, and creatives. Notoriety's partnership with Ìpàdé began in January 2025 with Take Notes — a live talk show event featuring community leaders, live music, and craft cocktails. In June, we launched Show Your Work in partnership with Ìpàdé and Dupont Circle Art Walk: a recurring artistic parlor where artists and creatives present new projects and pieces to an engaged community audience. Since day one, Notoriety has led content creation, event promotion, and visual storytelling for every activation in the space. The results speak for themselves — over 150 guests welcomed, an average of 65 attendees per event, 6 artists partnered, and 135 individuals recruited into Ìpàdé's growing talent network and mailing list. The brand's digital footprint has grown exponentially through our ongoing partnership.
